PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Hello and welcome to Pueblo Del Sol Elementary School where our mission is to provide our students a solid foundation in math, reading, and writing. With the excellent and dedicated staff at PDS there is no doubt in my mind that by all of us (students, staff, and parents/guardians) working together it can be a successful, enjoyable, and productive learning experience for students, teachers, and parents.
Every parent/guardian is invited and encouraged to become active in your son/daughter’s education here at Pueblo Del Sol Elementary School. We have a very supportive and active PTO at PDS and there is a multitude of ways to participate to fit your schedule. A membership form will be sent home the first day of school in each student’s back-to-school packet. If you missed it, more are available in the office. You are welcome to visit our campus but we do ask that you sign in at the office when you come on campus.
As you continue to enjoy your summer here are a few reminders for the coming year. The start and end times for our school day have changed. The first day of school is August 8th and school now starts at 8:30 and ends at 2:45. During the summer the office is open 8:00-4:00 Monday-Thursday. We return to the five day, Monday-Friday, work week beginning July 25. New students are encouraged to stop by the office and pick up the registration packet remembering that immunization records and birth certificate are required to register.
